  • Use Scheduling Tools 

One way to maintain consistency, as well as make your job easier when it comes to social media is by utilizing a scheduling tool. Programs I suggest using would be Later.com or Hootsuite. These platforms are super easy to learn how to use and they have many features like scheduling, hashtag saving, insight statistics and plenty more  to make your job easier when it comes to managing social channels. 

  • Consistency 

Consistency within the social media channels is going to be a big component to a growing brand on Instagram. Providing content that is repeatedly coming up will remind the consumer that your business is there. They will also become more comfortable with your business. It’s like seeing a new friend once in a while, versus seeing an old friend frequently. You can use a scheduling tool to easily keep consistency going. 

  • Quality over Quantity

Depending on how much content you have to post on social channels, make sure you are choosing to post quality content over quantity. While it is great to be consistent, you want to make sure you are posting content that your followers actually like and care about. If you don’t think something is worth posting, skip the day, maybe do some Instagram stories instead, and come back with a better feed post the next day. 

  • Utilize Platforms Most Effective to You

When deciding to build your social media platform for your business, make sure you are diving into the ones that will be most effective to you. Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, all have different qualities that may fit best with building your brand up. Look into which would be best and provide quality content for those channels. 

  • Be Personable 

When building a social platform, it’s extremely vital to make sure you are being personable with your audience. While it is important to pitch your brand and its services or product, you don’t want to sound too cookie cutter. By providing behind the scenes content, quotes, this gives the audience a look at the inside of your business and can be an easy way to form connections with them. 

  • Make Sure Links Work

If you are going to be utilizing links on your social channels, whether that’s in your bio, or in a LinkTree, you want to make sure that they all work. If a customer goes to use a link and it does not work, it will deter them from coming back to your page and you might lose their business. 

  • Engage with Your Audience

In order to keep your audience engaged with you, you must engage with them too! People love to see comments and messages on their social channels. Give the people what they love! By engaging with them, they are more likely to use your service or product and will keep coming back for more. 

  • Utilize Insights

Utilize insights on social platforms to determine what kind of content is the most successful on your page. By doing so, you are then able to push similar content which will continue to push your engagement to higher numbers. Keep track of your insights in a document to quickly and easily share reports of engagement. This can keep a marketing team constantly striving for THE BEST!
