What is FORTIFIED?
The "Strengthen Your Roof" grant program offers up to $6,000 in grant funding to have a FORTIFIED Roof™ installed. NVJUA(North Carolina Joint Underwriters Association) Endorsement with IBHS offers up to $5,000. There are a limited number of grants available and they are awarded first-come first-served. Monarch Roofing can help walk you through the process and make sure you have a stronger roof before the next threat to your home.

The Grant Process
1. Contact Us
Contact Us to get guidance on the Fortified Roof Grant Program.
2. Application
Policyholder will submit their grant application through the Strengthen Your Roof website within the application period.
3. Review
NCIUA and IBHS review the application for pre-eligibility and to verify that the property is eligible for a FORTIFIED Roof™.
4. Approval
Once approved, the policyholder will request a bid from Monarch Roofing through their Strengthen Your Roof dashboard.
5. Roof Completed
After the roof is complete, the IBHS Evaluator will confirm the roof has been completed per required IBHS FORTIFIED Roof™ standards and submit all required documentation to IBHS.
6. Payment Of Funds
NCIUA will distribute grant funds to the policyholder.
